In addition to traditional injection moulding, De Beer Beoplast also has the option of vertical injection moulding. This makes it possible to overmould inserts, for example.
Hybrid injection moulding is the permanent bonding of plastics with metals. This often involves overmoulded metal inserts as an alternative to subsequent bonding.
Well-known examples of this are hand tools, such as screwdrivers. But at Beoplast we produce, among other things, high-quality components for the automotive industry, in which zinc castings are applied with a high-tech plastic seal.
Vertical injection moulding machines are equipped with a turntable that allows a new insert to be placed while the machine is still in its cycle.
This placement of a new insert can be done manually, but for large series we have robots that can do it automatically.
